Meera Gupta’s paintings are not only highly appreciated abroad, but her paintings done in Indian style have many buyers too. Out of the many earned through these sales she offers scholarships to two deserving Art students plus felicitating one senior artist with ample reward for his/her work. This artist is selected by her friends. This has earned her the respect of all artists in and out of Indore.

Meera Gupta is really a generous artist. She always thinks about other struggling artists. She wants to contribute something for art & artist. So She started Scholarship, Bond & Felicitation, called “Meera Kala Samman.”

The scholarship scheme began in 1982 for two students of School of Fine Arts of Indore, with humble beginning of Rs. 500, which increased to Rs.5000.

The Felicitation for one senior artists above 60 years, began in 1992. At that time the amount was only Rs.1100 which has now risen to Rs.31000.

The Bond scheme for established artists started from the year of 1994. The Bond amount was Rs. 5000 which would double in future. Now the Bond amount is Rs.20000.
